From today, you will be able to return home from Gaddachauki - Banbasa

The District Administration Office, Kanchanpur, has decided to allow those stranded in the border area to return home from today through Gaddachauki.

A meeting of the District Security Committee chaired by Chief District Officer Noor Hari Khatiwada on Sunday had decided to allow the stranded people to enter through Gaddachauki. Gokarna Prasad Upadhyaya, Assistant Chief District Officer of Kanchanpur, said that arrangements have been made to bring back those returning from India after conducting health check-up at the checkpoint.

Stating that those who have been stranded in the border area for a long time have started gathering at the checkpoint since the morning after getting permission to enter the country, Assistant Superintendent Upadhyaya informed that they are preparing to bring them in the afternoon.
