How to Add WhatsApp Contact using QR Code

WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature to allow adding contacts using QR code.

This feature is available in public beta to build 2.20.169 onward. Using this feature, you can share your WhatsApp profile link without displaying a mobile number to others and also scan other users' profile link to add them to contact.

This feature lets us share our own profile QR code or scan other QR codes to add them to your WhatsApp contacts list. 

How to generate WhatsApp QR Code?

• Install the latest version of Whatsapp.
• Click on three vertical dots (menu) and choose Setting.
• On the right corner of your phone, there is a QR code button-Tapping on the QR button that will lead you to your QR Code Page.
• You can share QR code using share buttons at the top right corner or even reset QR code by clicking Options
  

How to Add WhatsApp contacts using QR code?

• Install the latest version of Whatsapp.
• Open Whatsapp setting and click on the little QR code beside your profile.
• you can share this QR code to anyone using the little share button above it.
• swipe left on this screen, you will launch the camera to scan WhatsApp profile QR codes.
