Covid-19 cases in Karnali, increased to 1,433
With the addition of 26 people on Friday, the number of infected people in Karnali has reached 1,433.
According to a press release issued by the Health Services Division of the Karnali State Ministry of Social Development, 23 people including 12 from Surkhet, five from Dailekh, three from Salyan, two from Jajarkot and one from Mugu have tested positive for corona.
According to Dr. Laxminarayan Tiwari, Chief of the Health Services Division at the Ministry, 11 people have been infected with corona in Surkhet Birendranagar Municipality and one in Barahatal Municipality, five in Dailekh Dullu Municipality, three in Salyan Sharda Municipality, two in Jajarkot Shivalaya Municipality and one in Mugu Chhayannath Municipality.
Similarly, an RT PCR test conducted at Karnali Institute of Health Sciences, Jumla, confirmed corona infection in three people, one from Tokha Municipality, one from Surkhet Birendranagar Municipality and one from Jumla Sinja Village, said Dr. Tiwari.
