In the far west, the number of corona cases reached 375, with 102 in isolation
The number of corona cases in the far-western region has reached 375. As of Wednesday evening, 375 people had confirmed corona infection, according to the Ministry of Social Development. There are 326 males and 49 females.
Corona was confirmed in 31 people in a test conducted at 19 laboratories in Seti on Wednesday alone.
Eighty-one have returned home after winning the Corona. The ministry said 102 corona-infected people were in isolation.
Among the infected, 128 are from Kailali, 74 from Kanchanpur, 21 from Achham, 39 from Dadeldhura and 12 from Darchula. Corona infection has been confirmed in 16 people in Bajhang, 27 in Baitadi, 38 in Doti and 20 in Bajura.
So far, 88,708 people have been tested using RDT and PCR methods and 12,497 throat swab samples have been collected, according to the ministry. There are 42 thousand 539 people in quarantine in the state.
