In Pune, four people have died in rain-related incidents, prompting the deployment of Army personnel to assist with evacuations. Schools and colleges in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad are closed. 

Mumbai has been placed on red alert, experiencing severe waterlogging and flight delays.
